KASSON, Minnesota (STPNS) -- Nellie Susan Laite Bartlett, 76, died at her home in Sargeant, MN on September 22, 2008.

Nellie Susan Church was born June 16, 1932 in Waltham, MN. Nellie was united in marriage to LeRoy Laite. He later ded. She married Keith Bartlett in 1987. Nellie worked for Gerard Academy in Austin, MN and drove school bus for the Hayfield School Disrict for several years. Nellie enjoyed gardening, flowers and tractor shows.

Nellie is survived by her husband Keith, daughter, Nancy Prince of Chico, CA; two sons, Louie Laite of Barstow, CA and Jimmy Dean Laite of Fairfield, IL; four grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; step-children Anna Waters of Hayfield, Keith Bartlett, Jr. of Blooming Prairie, Ellen Bartlett of Hayfield, Phillip Bartlett of Florida and James Bartlett of Austin; and eleven step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, LeRoy, one sister, and one step-grandson.



The funeral service was September 25 at Zion United Methodist Church in Sargeant with Reverend Jon Schultz officiating. Interment was in Waltham Township Cemetery.

The Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield was in charge of arrangements.
