SMALL TOWN BUSINESS
Rodeo photographers make their debut at the Elgin StampedeTwo college girls, who grew up in Estacada, spent the entire weekend taking pictures at the Elgin Stampede
ELGIN, Oregon (STPNS) -- Beth Rossos and Sarah Rosses can remember their dad competing in rodeos. ?He doesn?t compete anymore,? said Beth, ?he doesn?t even go to many rodeos, because it makes him miss it I think. We have always loved going to rodeos, and we have always liked taking pictures, so we thought why not combine the two.? SBR Photography is what has developed out of that combination. The two sisters set up their computers, their printer and their display board and went to work taking pictures throughout the weekend. Once the pictures were taken, they would download them into their computer, where they were available to print. ?We did pretty well today,? said Beth. ?We weren?t sure how it was going to go over, but it seems to be working pretty well.? Sarah is attending school at Eastern Oregon University, and Beth is taking online courses through EOU as well. Their younger sister will also be joining them in their new adventure. ?We love it,? said Beth. ?I can definitely see us doing this for a while. It?s a fun summer job. We are planning on going to a lot of the high school rodeos and the pee wee rodeos too. We want to go to as many as we can. Just because these two enterprising young women have loaded up their Jeep and gone home doesn?t mean their pictures are gone. The are in the process of getting all of the pictures they took, during the entire weekend, online. These photos can be found at www.sbrphotography.com, once there click on rodeos and then click on Elgin Stampede. These girls did a great job on their photos and are offering them for very reasonable prices. Look for these young women next year at the Elgin Stampede.
