MATTAWA, Washington (STPNS) -- A family home on Pasco St. in Beverly took gunfire  last Tuesday afternoon, and this wasn't the first time. No one was injured in the shooting and the incident is under investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Department.

According to reports, the dispatch center received several calls just after 3 p.m on Feb. 16. Neighbors on Pasco St. reporting people running and shooting everywhere. Sheriff’s deputies responded and were told by the family in the home that they did not see anything, just heard the shots.



Home owners pointed out to deputies where shotgun pellets and bullets had struck the front of the home. They also pointed out holes that were old holes from previous shootings.

Callers described three suspects, one with a shotgun dressed in red, one with a handgun dressed in black and a third subject with a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt holding a beer. Witnesses said the subjects were shooting at the home and then running south on Pasco St. They also described a white Bronco-type vehicle leaving the scene.

No vehicle or suspects matching those descriptions were found in the area. Possible suspects were identified through interviews and further investigation is being conducted to try and bring charges against the shooters, police said.
